On December 9, 2011 find out which innovations will make a worldwide impact in the event's following categories: Action and Sport Technologies In addition to these eight awards, a highlight of the event includes the recognition of two extraordinary individuals with the Distinguished Contributions Awards in Life Sciences and Technology and the presentation of the prestigious William W. Otterson Award. The Otterson Award continues the legacy of CONNECT's first executive director, Bill Otterson, and recognizes technologies or products developed in San Diego that have demonstrated a significant impact on our society or quality of life.
